"He was far too keen for his comeback run, so we can put a line through that and expect something a little more akin to his 3yo form."

Marching all the way to win with Saeed's Army
Back Marching Army @ 11.010/1 in the 14:15 at Yarmouth
The angle of headgear first time by trainer Saeed bin Suroor comes out for the feature at Yarmouth, as his Marching Army has the visor applied. The numbers for the Godolphin man using the accoutrements read 83-566 at a win strike-rate of 15% and 185-566 at 33% placed.
Marching Army is a big price at 10/1, and the 4yo is still unexposed with just eight career starts and has been in headgear before with cheekpieces last term - running fourth and not beaten far at Kempton.
He was very progressive last term though, especially on the All-Weather with two wins from three starts including the 1m3f Middle Distance Series Final in November. He displayed a gutsy attitude in that under Hollie Doyle, with his best part of the race on the clock at 3f and 2f from home at 11.61 and 11.64. Although he ran even quicker in the closing stages with his September win at the track with a fine 11.04 in a tactical race.
We've only seen him once this season, and that came in 0-100 company at York back at 1m2f. He was far too keen for his comeback run, so we can put a line through that and expect something a little more akin to his 3yo form.
The 4yo is a huge horse that likes to dominate, and that could be a possibility as he remains at 1m2f - and he should get further and he likes quick ground as he opened his account at Leicester last term when the track was riding fast - a race he made all in to win by nearly 4L.
I can't understand why he is such a big price, and Marco Ghiani is the leading rider at the track in terms of total wins in the last five years and takes over from Doyle.
Beauty the choice under Yarmouth leading rider Callan
Back Beauty Choice @ 5.04/1 in the 17:10 at Yarmouth
I'm a big fan of jockey Neil Callan and he continues to build up his links with trainers this season. He rides Beauty Choice for William Jarvis and takes on some in form horses in opposition.
Beauty Choice hasn't won for a while, indeed has only one career victory, but he returned to a bit of form last time with a second at Newmarket on quick ground. He was unlucky in many ways as he raced solo on the near side - with the winner at the opposite end of the track and running free with the first-time blinkers.
This is a drop in class and he's well handicapped these days from 73 as last summer he was running from an 11lb higher mark.
Callan has been busy at Yarmouth this term with 32 rides, but he's on five wins which places him number one in the table for this term and shows a massive +34.82 level stakes profit for the season.
