Two potentially exciting horses headline Alan's multiple selection this evening on the All-Weather

Can Ghanaati produce a good one?

Back Maghlaak @ 8.07/1 in the 18:20 at Kempton

As the anticipation builds for the Racing League tomorrow night, Kempton's Wednesday card has the potential to throw up something decent, and I am hoping it could come in the 18:20 Novice Stakes.

John Gosden's Moon Watch has a special pedigree and produced the goods on his debut in June, and with the front two 7L clear, it's hard to knock that performance. I can knock the price however under a penalty at 8/11.

Of greater interest is the Charlie Hills-trained newcomer Maghlaak at a drifting price 7/1.

The horse's dam Ghanaati was one of my favourites on the track, and it's an indication of how time flies that she is now 16 years of age standing as a broodmare. All six of her offspring have won races, and Mutasaabeq has been the best of them. However, Ghanaati has yet to produce something of a marquee horse.

Maghlaak hails from a wonderful family with Mawatheeq in the line, and it's an interesting cross with Muhaarar, and that potential could offer some speed.

Ghanaati made her debut famously at Kempton when winning on her sole 2yo run and Hills has had more success than any other age bracket with his 3yos on the All-Weather striking at 9-32 at 28%.

Sea to be gifted a win on second start

Back Sea Gifted @ 6.511/2 in the 19:50 at Kempton

We're taking on another Gosden favourite in the 1m4f Fillies' Novice and William Haggas has Sea Gifted pencilled in to make her second start.

She raced at Salisbury for her debut in June over 1m2f, and following a poor break from the stalls against a steady pace on the clock - she had no chance.

The 3yo also was noticeably green throughout, and it looked as if the run was needed despite late market support and her being sent off favourite.

Sea Gifted is related to stayers Raheen House and and Sea Of Faith - who both won over 1m6f and 1m4f, so she'll be suited far greater to the 1m4f distance this evening.

Haggas has a good record with 3yos on the All-Weather with a ledger of 20-70 at 29%.
