Daily Racing Multiple: Kevin and the Gasman fit the bill for a 10/1 double on Monday

Can Alan land another winner or two from a pair of races at Wolverhampton?

Our in-form multiple tipster hit a 10/1 double on Saturday and a 7.45 winner yesterday, and his two selections go in a multiple at Wolverhampton...

  • Alan continued in-form with his fourth winner from six picks yesterday

  • Gasman improving to warrant a betting interest

  • Alan Dudman is searching for his second multiple in three days with a 10/1 duo for Wolves

Eager to take on Glittering for Godolphin

Back Renesmee @ 2.915/8 in the 17:30 at Wolverhampton

Glen Buck ran out a nice winner yesterday for the column, and an even better drift out to a BSP of 7.45, although Naughty Ted was more naughty than well behaved and he flopped in the opener. However, it's four winners in three days and Wolverhampton can hopefully provide some profit on Monday.

The 17:30 7f Novice Stakes sees Glittering Lights as the Evens favourite, but she's only rated 75 and has had four chances to get her head in front. I thought she'd make the running last time at Kempton over 6f, but missed the break and flattered perhaps at the end with the way she stayed on.

Even though she has been beaten in four starts, she has never dipped under odds-on in-running. She was a big enough price last time for me, but not this time around as she goes back up to 7f.

Renesmee has had a couple of runs for Kevin Phillipart de Foy (or is it de Fois?), and if the 3yo has any ability, she can give the favourite a race here.

The 3yo made her debut at Yarmouth in the summer and caught the eye considering how green she was behind an 89-rated winner. Her second start was at Ascot behind Hugo Palmer's Revenite, who has since scored and bolted up at Kempton.

As a daughter of Iffraaj, there's hope she'll take to the surface as I like the sire's runner on artificials, and has a 13% win record and 33% placed from a massive 680 runners at Wolverhampton.

With Billy Loughnane's claim here of 7lb, she looks a bet judged on her Ascot run.

Gasman can light up Wolverhampton for Durack

Back Gasman @ 3.02/1 in the 18:00 at Wolverhampton

It's fairly rare to see a Seamus Durack runner so prominent in the betting - especially against Marco Botti from Newmarket, and back in the day, Botti used to mop up these Wolves races before those nasty big boys from Godolphin started to clean up.

Gasman showed nothing in three starts but improved greatly on his handicap debut last time at Lingfield behind Haaland, and ran on in quite pleasing fashion behind a winner that was gifted the lead.

In short, it was a shocker of race, but at least there was something to work with. As indeed his pedigree suggests over this 1m2f, and he did improve for going up from 1m.

I remember this horse's dam Anne Of Kiev - who was a 100-rated performer for Jeremy Gask and had a fine-strike on the All-Weather with six wins from her 17 starts. She was very good. His sire Cracksman has also created a good impression, and his stock are surprising a lot of people with the amount of pace they have considering his stamina.

The selection cost 47k and off 59 from improved form, makes the betting list. Both aren't wild prices, but neither race is wild either.

Good luck.
