The progressive No Cruise Yet is bidding for his biggest success in the North Wales National

The North Wales National is one of the races of the day at Bangor and Alan Dudman has a selection on the Dee for his 19/1 Friday multiple...

Friday marks a big day for Bangor with the first-ever North Wales National, and a field of 14 makes it an Extra Place Special contest on the Sportsbook.

No Cruise Yet has been in rattling good form since joining Sam England and it's hard to knock his consistency as he picked up another win last time out at Haydock. That was the Daily Tips On Betting.Betfair Handicap Chase and it looks a good piece of form with the second touched off and 3L back to the third Nestor Par who is rated 135. I actually fancied Nestor Park in the Warwick Classic on his next start.

The selection has only had two runs this season so it hasn't been a tough campaign and considering he stays so well and is an accurate jumper, we should get a good spin for our money here.

He'll be fine on good to soft or even softer and his trainer over five seasons at Bangor is 3-15 at 20%.

Compensation awaits for Sami

Back Sami Bear @ 85/40 in the 15:35 at Kempton

I am generally a forgiving sort and Sami Bear needs forgiving. He was in my Daily Racing Multiple with a first leg 7/1 winner, and it looked good for Sami at Wincanton as he came with a sustained run at the last, and looked a sure winner before decided to swerve around and get rid of his jockey rather unceremoniously.

Freddie Gordon gets a chance to avenge that rather painful loss, and he hit 1.51/2 in-running to hammer home the misery and the young rider still claims 7lb.

I think this horse is a stayer and a sharp track like Kempton will suit him as the pace they run on usually decent ground lends to horses doing well who do get a trip.

Sami Bear is unchanged from 99 and his trainer Chris Gordon is 5-12 in the last two weeks at 42%. Just no more antics please Sami.
