One of Alan's picks holds good claims at Naas on Sunday

Alan Dudman picked out dead-heat winner Queen Fleur yesterday, a drifter to around a BSP of 12/1, and he returns with a big price Sunday each-way double using the extra places on the Sportsbook...

Zeros can clock up another 'one'

Back Five Zeros @ 10.09/1 in the 17:12 at Sandown

A good win, or dead heat, for Queen Fleur yesterday for the column who went of at a massive 13.62 BSP, unfortunately Wild Crusade couldn't figure for Charlie Appleby - who once again let me down.

It's on with Sandown for the excellent Sunday Series and the Irish raider Five Zeros is drawn well and can give us a shot at profit despite being 4lb out of the handicap.

She's an in form mare with back-to-back wins at Down Royal and Tipperary and with the Extra Place Special, we have the luxury of going five places. Indeed, on the Sportsbook you can play two in the same race as a multiple and make a profit if both hit the frame - hopefully Five Zeros is up to the task.

The 5yo won an apprentice race at Down Royal under a finely judged ride from the front over 1m5f, so she'll have no issue staying over today's 1m2f as she scored over that trip earlier in the season at Navan with an easy win off 50.

Versatile in terms of trip and plenty of stamina with good ground, she's a big player from just 8st 9.

Libre can add to the Lupini win haul

Back Alma Libre @ 8.07/1 in the 17:30 at Naas

County Down trainer Natalia Lupini has sent out nine winners this season from just 32 runners with nine placed too. Her stats her even more impressive in the 4yo age bracket - with a 32% strike-rate with six winners.

Therefore, all roads lead me to the top weight Alma Libre for the closer and she deserves to get her head in front after a consistent season.

She does need to bounce back however after a lacklustre effort last time, but the soft ground at Galway was very much against her.

The standout run from the filly came at the curragh in the Apprentice Derby - a race where she received a peach of a ride from the front under Mikey Sheehy. It was agonising stuff for her backers that day as he hit a low of 1.141/7 in-play.

August winners:

Queen Fleur 17/2 DH Win and Place
Prince Of Pillo 5/2 Won
Seeking Gold 5/4 Won
See The Sea 5/1 Won
Tarrabb 5/2 Won
Anmaat 9/2 Won
Tyrone's Poppy 11/4 Won
