Rachael Blackmore Superboost
Rachael has a good chance on Quilixios in the Arkle Chase at 14:10 today, and if you fancy the horse to run well you can back it at the super-boosted price of 6/42.50 (from 4/61.67) to finish in the top top four.
16:50 - Liari
A classy recruit from the flat in France, he is progressive and unbeaten in three starts over hurdles since joining us. He's done everything right so far and has an entry in the Triumph Hurdle on Friday but runs instead in this handicap off a mark of 134.
It will not be easy for him off top weight of 11st 12lbs but this is a bit like a limited handicap with the bottom ones on 10st 12lbs and Liari is a big, strong, improving horse and hopefully has an each-way chance.
Timeform's view on Paul Nicholls' best chance on Tuesday
16:50 - Liari
There's just the one runner for Paul Nicholls at Cheltenham on Tuesday but Liari is certainly an interesting contender in a typically wide-open Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle (16:50).
Liari, a winner on the Flat in France for Jean-Claude Rouget, has made the perfect start for Nicholls, winning all three outings over hurdles and improving his Timeform rating on each occasion. He scored with the minimum of fuss in the listed Scottish Triumph Hurdle at Musselburgh last month, looking like a smart prospect.
He figures towards the head of Timeform's ratings for the Boodles, which are topped by Lark In The Mornin, and he remains open to further improvement.
