Cheltenham 14:10: Back L'Eau Du Sud

L'Eau Du Sud's run in the Betfair Hurdle puts him right in the mix for the County today, although with the week that Dan Skelton is having, it's no surprise that he is now market leader today at 4/15.00 on the Sportsbook.

His second at Newbury was his personal best by some way for Skelton, and that run behind Iberico Lord came in soft conditions and a strong pace.

The form has worked out with the third and the fifth both running first and second recently at Sandown and Skelton has won this four times too since 2016.

Up to 135 and a nice weight, I'll take him today as the ground won't be an issue either.

Cheltenham 14:50: Readin Tommy Wrong

Willie Mullins' strength in the novice department in unbelievable and Readin Tommy Wrong is well clear in the betting at 15/82.88 for the Albert Bartlett

His Lawlor's Of Naas Novice Hurdle Grade 1 victory in January was a bit scruffy as his jumping was far from fluent, but he'll be happier I am sure up to 3m today from that 2m4f win.

He overcame a steady pace too at Cork to win on his hurdling debut in the winter.

I was keen to add Bride's Hill in the Mares' Chase, but the ground has gone against her and her price was drifting massively this morning to 16/117.00, so we play at the top of the market and can hopefully end the week with a profit.
