Alan Dudman has bets for Wednesday's action at Market Rasen and Wolverhampton with a pick in the big sprint of the day...
"With a decent draw and Luke Morris on board, he is looking for his sixth victory on the all-weather."
Giant can tower over rivals for staying success
The feature race of the day comprises of a big field for the Lincolnshire National, and I am hoping Red Giant can add another long distance marathon to his CV.
The start of this race could also be fascinating as Red Giant likes to lead, but so does Cyclop who has previous in this. No doubt there'll be the usual "keep your eye on him" line.
But the selection put in a decent round of bold jumping to land the Durham National at Sedgefield earlier in the season from 118 and he's still not badly treated from a 7lb higher mark.
He wasn't quite quick enough at Catterick with his latest start so a return to 3m4f will certainly be an advantage, as will the ability to see off Cyclop in the early throes.
Hombre can be a friend to punters at Wolves
The 0-95 sprint looks a fairly open contest with chances everywhere and El Hombre has everything in place to run a big race.
He produced a solid effort at Lingfield recently and that was a return to form for the horse, and he's still fairly nicely treated on the pick of his efforts.
Wolverhampton suits him too, as he finished fourth in a stronger grade over an inadequate 5f in November, and ran well over course and distance two months ago from a similar sort of mark.
With a decent draw and Luke Morris on board, he is looking for his sixth victory on the all-weather.
