For Three is overpriced at Sedgefield
Sedgefield - 14:20 - Back For Three
For Three finished one place ahead of El Jefe when he finished second over C&D earlier this month and today he has a very good chance to go one better.
For Three was held up in last that day and had to be shaken along briefly with just over a circuit to go. He started to make headway early in the back straight and then made a big move on the outside after jumping three out which saw him go to the front leaving the back straight.
He came under pressure after jumping two out as Cape Horn challenged and couldn't quite hold off that rival with 4½ lengths back to El Jefe in third.
That was For Three's first run for Sam England and his first run with a tongue tie. He improved for both of those and they will have learned from that run that showing more patience when making his challenge could be beneficial rather than making a big move far out.
This doesn't look a strong race for the grade and he appears to have a very good chance to get off the mark for the new yard on the second attempt. Any 5/23.50 or bigger appeals.
