Ran well under positive tactics last time

May not face much pressure up front

Beauty To Behold is overpriced at Perth
Rivals not run close to ratings lately
Perth 14:50: Conkwell Legend 1pt win 7/5
Conkwell Legend failed to get past the first fence on his chasing debut at Warwick last season but I think he has a strong chance to make amends for that today given the recent performances of his rivals.
Conkwell Legend ran very well on his latest start over hurdles at Ffos Las where he stayed on strongly in the closing stages to almost catch Keppage while finishing clear of the rest. That run suggested that a step up in trip could suit and while it's quicker ground today, he did run well at Fontwell on good to soft ground over an inadequate test of stamina and his action gives hope for him handling good ground.
Meanwhile, his rivals have all been running below their ratings of late. Western Run has been competing in points and has won two of them but those performances are significantly below his rating of 124 so he'll have to improve on that to be competitive today.
Bodhisattva ran respectably in handicap hurdles last season but he ran poorly on chasing debut at Kilbeggan when beaten 48 lengths by Slane Hill. It may be that he didn't handle the track that day but it is worrying just how poorly he ran so he's another who needs to bounce back to a much better level. And Get 'Em In is racing from 38lb out of the handicap so is likely to struggle.
Maybe Conkwell Legend just won't take to chasing but in a race where simply running to his rating could easily be good enough to win, I think he should be shorter at the head of the market and any 11/10 or bigger appeals.
Chance to make all
Perth 17:38: Beauty To Behold 1pt win 5/1
Beauty To Behold makes her handicap debut in the final race and I think she has a good chance to get off the mark under rules after a couple of promising efforts since the hood has been applied.
She ran fairly well when fourth behind subsequent winners Ballyporeen and Special Rate at Kelso two starts ago when Beauty To Behold raced behind the leading group from the off and she followed that up with another good run over today's C&D when there was a change in tactics. She made the running that day and gradually extended her advantage over the field early in the back straight. She was still around seven lengths clear entering the home straight but was joined at 2 out and soon headed. Beauty To Behold did keep battling on though and was only beaten 6¼ lengths in third.
I'm hoping that they will look to repeat those tactics today as there's not too much early speed in this race and she could be able to open up an advantage early on without having to work too hard as a result.
It may be that she currently goes a bit too keenly for her true ability to be shown but in a race of this quality I think she's overpriced and any 9/2 or bigger appeals.
