Thursday 9 July 21:00 - France v Morocco

France and Morocco will face each other for the seventh time, with Les Bleus unbeaten across each of the previous six (W4 D2). Their only competitive meeting to date was the most recent one: a 2-0 win for France in the semi-final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Kylian Mbappé has the most goals (7), goal involvements (9) and chances created (12) for France at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while only Michael Olise (9) has made more defensive line-breaking passes than Mbappé (8).

Friday 10 July 22:00 - Spain v Belgium

Spain have kept a clean sheet in each of their last six FIFA World Cup games, the longest run by any side in the competition's history. Indeed, at this year's tournament, they are averaging an xGA-per-game of just 0.30 - the lowest on record (from 1966) by any team in an edition of the finals.

Under Luis de la Fuente, Spain have progressed from all six of their major tournament (FIFA World Cup/UEFA EURO) knockout games. Only two managers have ever progressed from their first seven knockout ties at major tournaments with European nations: Vittorio Pozzo (first 8 with Italy, 1934-1938) and Vicente del Bosque (first 7 with Spain, 2010-2012).

Saturday 11 July 22:00 - Norway v England

Harry Kane has scored six goals at the 2026 FIFA World Cup; it's only the third time an England player has scored six goals in a major tournament (FIFA World Cup/UEFA EUROs - also Gary Lineker at the 1986 World Cup and Kane himself at the 2018 World Cup). Kane has scored 11 goals in his last 12 knockout stage matches at major tournaments, both scoring and missing a penalty against France at this stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Erling Haaland has scored in each of his last 14 competitive outings for Norway (27 goals in total during this period), finding the back of the net in all four of his appearances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup so far. The last player to score in each of his first five games at the tournament was Columbia's James Rodríguez in 2014, while the last European player to do so was Germany's Gerd Müller in 1970.

Sunday 12 July - Argentina v Switzerland

As well as netting in each of his last nine FIFA World Cup appearances, current Golden Boot favourite Lionel Messi has recorded 2+ shots on target and created 2+ chances in nine of his previous 10 games.

Dan Ndoye is averaging 4.5 fouls won per 90 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, winning at least three in three of his four starts.
