Haiti v New Zealand Tip - Scrappy stalemate on the cards

Haiti are back in the World Cup after 52 years and they should have some decent backing in Florida as they tackle New Zeland, who will make their third World Cup appearance this summer after a 16-year wait and are slight 7/52.40 favourites here.

The Caribbean outfit are stubborn, ranked two places above New Zealand in 83rd and, considering the All Whites have only just ended an eight-game winless run (L7 D1), 9/52.80 on a Haiti win makes some appeal.

But neither side are entertainers - only two of Haiti's last eight games saw both teams score while New Zeland have only scored more than one goal once in their last 10 outings. Let's call this one a low-scoring draw.

DR Congo v Denmark Tip - Danes to outscore African qualifiers

Denmark will miss the World Cup for the first time since 2014 after that dramatic loss in Scotland followed by play-off defeat to Czechia. DR Congo, however, are off to the finals this summer and start preparations with this friendly in Belgium.

Congo, formerly Zaire, have lost just once in 10, with seven clean sheets in their eight wins, but they've been forced to move training camp to Belgium following the Ebola outbreak back home. The 5/16.00 is still a big price for a Congo win given Denmark have nothing at stake, but the chaos forced upon the Africans is a big red flag.

The Danes have pride to play for and, with Congo not guaranteed to be at full strength, the Europeans could prosper as they did bang in the goals during World Cup qualifying. But they do leave things open at the back.

Netherlands v Algeria Tip - Dutch to dominate at home

The Dutch are World Cup fancies again after powering through qualifying, and big 4/111.36 favourites here after going 14 home games unbeaten (W10 D4) with eight of those wins coming with clean sheets and seven by at least a four-goal margin.

Algeria have also made the World Cup and have won four on the spin away from home. Although they look outmatched they'll be tough to break down - they've not conceded a first-half goal in nine games.

The Netherlands have scored a first-half goal in their last 11 home games though. As confirmed fast starters they should get ahead early and stay ahead with their more then decent defensive record and Algeria's less than prolific run in front of goal.

Poland v Nigeria Tip - Back 5/23.50 Super Eagles

Neither side made it to the World Cup, and Poland in particular haven't taken it well judging by their 2-0 friendly defeat to Ukraine on Sunday. Nigeria have lost just once in 11 games as well as finishing third at the Africa Cup of Nations.

As disappointed as the Super Eagles are at failing to make it to North America this summer, the signs on the whole look promising going forward. If they've got that trademark energy then they could well take advantage of a sluggish home side who are just waiting for the season to end.

Luxembourg v Italy Tip - Italy U21s to edge it

Italy somehow failed to qualify for a third World Cup in a row, and now we'll have the strange sight of interim boss Silvio Baldini stepping up from the Under-21s and bringing most of his youngesters with him - as the vast majority of the senior Azzurri players are missing these two friendlies.

Only four players with a senior cap are in the squad, led by goalkeepr Gianluigi Donnarumma, and with Luxembourg on a high after back-to-back wins over Malta maybe this team of Italian kids shouldn't be 1/21.50 to win against a senior international side.

The hosts haven't scored in seven of their last 10 matches though, so you'd still expect this youthful Azzurri outfit to just about get the job done.
