Switzerland v Canada Tip - Cagey game expected

This clash decides who tops Group B.

Canada's superior goal-difference means a draw would see them finish first while Switzerland need to win.

As it stands, co-hosts Canada will play Belgium in the round of 32 and the winner of Colombia and Paraguay. Switzerland play South Korea then Morocco or the Netherlands.

That could all change though.

The Swiss were left to rue their wasteful finish against Qatar, they created more than enough to win that game but were hit with a sucker punch in stoppage time to draw.

They responded with an emphatic win over Bosnia but should really have had this group wrapped up already.

Canada came from behind to draw with Bosnia then battered Qatar 6-0 in their second game, the latter will have quelled the issues the Canucks have had scoring from open play.

Given what is at stake here, I'd be leaning towards a cagey game, a lack of goals and the draw but it's a no bet for me.

Fellow Betfair tipster Paul Higham is backing the draw and you can read why right here

Bosnia v Qatar Tip - Back foul play

These two both have one point each, with Bosnia in third on goal-difference.

With a draw unlikely to see either progress, the winner takes all here which should see a fascinating fixture.

Qatar's level was revealed against Canada after they were lucky to snatch a point against Switzerland.

It's why Bosnia are heavily odds-on but they aren't without their limitations. Direct and conservative, while they should win, it's hard to see them putting a massive dent in their -3 goal-difference.

Qatar's only goal at the finals was an own goal, they've only created 0.8 xG across their two games and created one 'big chance'.

At 13/102.30 with the Sportsbook, backing Bosnia to win to nil is the bet.

Morocco v Haiti Tip - Back unders at odds-against

Morocco have all but confirmed their spot in the knockout stages with four points in two games.

They must better Brazil's result or win heavily to finish top of Group C.

As it stands they'll play the Netherlands in the round of 32 and South Korea or Switzerland in the round of 16.

If they finish first, they'll play Japan next and then the winner of Ivory Coast and France.

All this is according to the BBC's World Cup schedule knock-out predictor and subject to change, but looking at that, surely the Atlas Lions would want to drop points here and take the first route.

Instead of backing Haiti to win at a big price, I think siding with a lack of goals makes more sense.

Under 2.5 goals can be backed at 13/102.30 with the Sportsbook which looks big.

There were two goals in Morocco's draw with Brazil, they beat Scotland 1-0, so this bet has clicked in both.

Haiti failed to score against Brazil and Scotland and are yet to win a game at a World Cup finals.

Scotland v Brazil Tip - Tartan Army good for a goal

A draw or better puts it beyond doubt for Scotland, they'll be in the knockouts, but defeat could leave them sweating on other results.

According to the super computer, three points and a goal-difference of -2 or better will see them progress as one of the best eight third place sides.

We shall see.

With this Group very much in the balance, it sets up a pretty enthralling evening, with this clash looking the most likely to see goals.

At odds against, both teams to score appeals with the Sportsbook.

Carlo Ancelotti is still trying to find his best XI. They have a stacked attack but he is struggling to find the defensive balance.

The Tartan Army's two games have only seen a goal in each but their in qualifying their games delivered plenty of goals with this bet clicking in each of their last four fixtures.

South Africa v South Korea Tip - Back South Korea to cruise to the next round

Although top spot is out of South Korea's grasp, a win will see them progress to the next round as Group A's runners up.

A keeping error cost them a share of the spoils against Mexico and they were undone by a set piece against Czechia, only conceding 0.83 xG in the latter.

At 8/52.60, backing South Korea to win to nil appeals here.

South Africa were woeful against Mexico, only managing three shots and an xG of 0.03.

They drew with Czechia, but scored from the spot with the majority of their xG coming from that penalty.

It's hard to see them laying a glove on this well-drilled South Korean team.

Czechia v Mexico Tip - Corner the value

Live on BBC

Mexico topped Group A with a narrow win over South Korea in their last match, ensuring knockout games in Mexico City in the round of 32 and round of 16 should they progress.

It should see Javier Aguirre rest and rotate for this clash, to make sure his star-men are fit and firing for the knock-out stages.

They host Czechia who need to win if they are going to make the round of 32 and this dynamic alone is enough to make you consider them at quotes of 13/53.60

They've looked really poor this summer though, and Mexico rarely get beat on their own patch, rotated XI or not.

So, I think backing Czechia in the shots and corner markets makes sense.

They've had five corners in each of their two games so far, and at 11/102.11 their price to have over 4.5 corners appeals.

Ladislav Krejci's price to have 2 or more shots also appeals.

He had four against South Africa and scored the opener against South Korea.
