Zaha set to become free agent

Crystal Palace forward Wilf Zaha is set to become a free agent after the huge offer Palace left on the table for the Ivorian expired today.

Zaha has long fancied himself for a move away in recent years, with Palace batting away bods from Everton, Dortmund and others to keep hold of the pacey winger.

Throughout this summer, though, he has made it clear his intent is to try new things, with one eye on Champions League football. He was heavily linked with PSG at the start of the summer, and remains 11/43.75 to sign for the French champions.

However, his odds to stay at Palace - currently 5/42.25 have shortened recently, with Roy Hodgson hoping to keep hold of him once more.

His contract is up, though, and the new deal Palace had on the table expired on June 30.

He is 5/16.00 to join the current exodus to Saudi Arabia, whilst he's 13/27.50 for Lazio after a strong link to Serie A last week.
