Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier is Evens to join Tottenham before the end of the Summer Transfer Window following an interview by Hugo Lloris suggesting he could leave Spurs sooner rather than later.

Meslier was dropped for the final four games of the season by Sam Allardyce on the back of some poor performances in the previous weeks.

But with Allardyce no longer in charge at Elland Road, the door could still be open for Meslier to remain at the club, however should Leeds wish to sell then Tottenham are the strong favourites to capture his signature.

Chelsea at 3/14.00 and Manchester United at 7/24.50 are two other clubs believed to be interested in signing Meslier.

End of an era admits Lloris

Like Meslier, Lloris also missed the final games of the season - due to injury rather than poor form - though in a recent interview with French newspaper Nice-Matin he hinted that he could Tottenham this summer.

"We are coming to an important moment, whether for the club or for me. It's the end of an era. I have desires for other things, I will ask myself quietly to study what will be possible", Lloris said.

However, he also admitted that he has one year left on his current contract at Tottenham, meaning departing this summer would have to be in agreement with his club.

Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is another possible replacement for Lloris, priced at 13/82.63 on the Betfair Sportsbook to join Tottenham before the end of the next transfer window, while Aston Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez is 5/16.00 to join Spurs.
