Liverpool to join race for Caicedo?

Liverpool are understood to be contemplating a move for Brighton's Moises Caicedo should both Jordan Henderson and Fabinho leave the club this summer.

Henderson is close to linking up with Steven Gerrard at Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq, whilst his Brazilian teammate Fabinho is too the subject of a bid from a club in the Saudi Pro League.

Liverpool know they need to strengthen their midfield with the two players mentioned above and Thiago all into their 30s. James Milner also left the club at the end of last season.

They are 11/26.50 to land Moises Caicedo from Brighton, who could well link up with former teammate Alexis Mac Allister, who joined the Reds last month. Caicedo was very close to joining Arsenal back in January, though with their impending signing of Declan Rice, the Gunners are 11/112.00 to sign him this time.

Chelsea remain the heavy odds-on favourites at 1/91.11 for the Ecuadorian, though Jugen Klopp's side could well swoop in following the latest developments.
