Liverpool look to be swooping in ahead of Arsenal for the signing of Romeo Lavia from Southampton.
The Reds have been backed into 4/51.80 to sign the young Belgian, who has only been at Southampton for a year after signing from Manchester City last summer.
City, however, do have a "first dubs" clause in his contract that must be exercised this summer if they so wish. He is 16/117.00 to head back to Manchester.
Arsenal were the first to move in the market on this one, but Southampton's £50m asking price has cooled the Gunners' interest. They do remain keen, but their price to sign him has drifted to 4/15.00.
Newcastle and Chelsea - both 7/18.00 - are next in the betting, with the Blues tabling an offer for him in January, only to be rejected by Southampton.
