Betting suspended on Zaha moving to Galatasaray

The Betfair Sportsbook has suspended betting on Wilfried Zaha joining Galatasaray amid reports that he is close to agreeing a deal with the Turkish champions.

The 30-year-old was available to back at 25/126.00 to sign for Galatasaray on Sunday morning.

Zaha is a free agent after failing to agree a new deal with Crystal Palace, and although it appeared last week that he could still sign a fresh contract with the Eagles, it now appears that the lure of Champions League football has won the day.

Atletico Madrid and three other un-named Champions League clubs are reported to have shown an interest in Zaha, but the fact that he was still training with Palace last week was encouraging news for Roy Hodgson.

But today's latest news that he's on the verge of signing for Galatasaray will be a huge blow to the Eagles as they try to avoid another fight to avoid the drop.

Palace can be backed at 7/18.00 in the Relegation market and at 1/41.25 to record a Bottom Half finish.
