Ruben Neves: Likes to shoot from distance

"Neves loves to try his luck from distance and Forest have been notoriously poor in closing down players around the edge of their own penalty area."

Having returned to the winners' circle, our Andy Schooler picks out a 9/5 Bet Builder for Wolves v Nottingham Forest in the Betfair football props column...

  • Forest look vulnerable to Neves
  • Jonny 1+ shot has landed in seven of nine
  • Go low on goals to complete 9/5 Bet Builder

Combining some short prices for a more appealing Bet Builder might not be the boldest strategy but it's one which can pay dividends at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.

First up, I'd expect Ruben Neves to get at least two shots away in this one.

The Portuguese loves to try his luck from distance and Forest have been notoriously poor in closing down players around the edge of their own penalty area - it was something highlighted on Monday Night Football after Ashley Young scored a long-range strike against them.

If you allow Neves time, he'll let fly, while he's also a strong free-kick taker.

I'll add in his Wolves team-mate Jonny for 1+ shot.

That's something the left-back has managed in seven of nine appearances this season and playing against a team who have conceded the second-most number of the shots in the league, I'm happy to stick him down for another here.

To complete a 9/5 treble, I'm going to add under 3.5 goals.

Wolves have been goal shy all season, scoring only three times so far, while their 'against' total of 11 isn't that bad.

Six of their nine games have landed this bet, while the majority of Forest's have too. They certainly looked more solid against Villa on Monday.

I don't see this being a goal-laden game and the overall 9/5 Bet Builder makes appeal.
