Tuesday Football Tips: Take Toney to hit the target

Brentford are heading back to the play-offs while Rotherham are heading to League One unless they can make their two games in hand on Derby count.

That's a tough ask for a side that's lost the last four and has games coming thick and fast as they play catch-up.

The Bees will want to try and cement third place in the play-offs so won't be taking their foot off the gas just yet, and they've got an impressive recent record against Rotherham.

They've scored 15 goals in four straight wins and will fancy bagging a few more against a tired and under-pressure Millers outfit.

Step forward Ivan Toney, Brentford's 29-goal marksman who is odds-on to score and just 3.613/5 to grab the first goal of the game - as he has done with four of his last six strikes.

That's always a risky play, so we're heading to the shots on target section instead with Toney also prolific in this regard with 52 in 42 games this season.

He's had a minimum of two shots in his last 11 games - with three or more efforts on goal in his last nine.

Toney has hit the target twice or more in his last two games and four of his last six, so we're happy to take the 2.35/4 on him having two shots on target on Tuesday night.

Rotherham's defence have conceded 20 shots on target in their last six so there should be plenty of opportunities for Toney to get his shots off and pull this bet off.
