Wilfried Zaha can hit the target for Palace

Paul Higham can't see too many goals at Selhurst Park on Tuesday, but is backing Wilfried Zaha to at least test the Wolves keeper...

  • Wolves have won one point from five away games
  • Palace have won the last three meetings - Wolves won the three previous
  • Zaha has had nine shots on target this season

We've not really got this one down as a would-be classic, as Crystal Palace host Wolves with just a point separating them in the table.

They've both struggled - Wolves at least got their second win of the season last time out, while Palace followed victory over Leeds with a draw at Leicester.

Wolves have won just the one point from five away games in the league so far, with also just one goal to their names in what has been a real grind for them on the road.

Palace haven't exactly been flying but Patrick Vieira's side do have a goal threat, unlike managerless Wolves who've bagged just four this season as the league's lowest scorers.

Wolves have lost four of their five away games - failing to score in three of those - so if a winner is to come here you have to think it will come from the hosts.

Palace have won the last three meetings, with Wolves taking the three before that in what has been a pretty even sereies of late - with the one constant being that the last nine all went under 2.5 goals.

And only one of those nine saw both teams score. You can back under 2.5 goals an BTTS 'No' in a double at around Evens.

Wilfried Zaha is the major goal threat on the park here, with four goals and an assist this season he's also scored four goals against Wolves over the years - Odsonne Edouard has chipped in with a coulpe too.

With Diego Costa still finding his feet, Wolves offer little and a 1-0 looks like their only chance again here - as it has been in their two league wins this season.

If pushed, I'd back Palace to scrape this one, but this could easily be a draw candidate - and a low-scoring draw at that.

Zaha will be tasked with taking the game to Wolves' pretty comfortable defensive set-up - but with the visitors perfectly capable of taking the sting out of this and settling for a draw

Instead, we'll take Zaha to have a couple of shots on target as Palace's main man roaming wherever he wants, as there's not too much confidence that we'll see any goals at all.

Zaha has had a couple of games with two shots on target or more and he's been continually involved this season - if the game's stretched he has the pace to break through but if Wolves are defending deep he can take shots from range or produce a trick to find space in the box.

He may well score, but we'll play safe and keep him as just two shots on target in a game containing under 2.5 goals in a promising Bet Builder double.
