We've got a Bet Builder treble for Tuesday's column, with new boss Ruud van Nistelrooy backed to lead PSV to victory over Monaco...

PSV v Monaco
Tuesday 9 August
19:30 BST kick-off

There's all to play for in a top-quality Champions League qualifier second leg on Tuesday as PSV host Monaco with the tie level at 1-1.

Both sides have a rich history in the event, but neither has made the Champions League group stages for four seasons now.

Joey Veerman put PSV in front in the first leg in Monaco, but Axel Disasi's late goal gave the Dutch side a draw to take back to the Philips Stadion.

With no away goals, the tie is evenly poised and both sides will fancy their chances - with Monaco earning a 2-1 win when the sides met here in last season's Europa League.

PSV are slight favourites as the hosts, with new boss Ruud van Nistelrooy enjoying a good start as manager with a 4-1 league win over Emmen coming after beating Ajax 5-3 in the Dutch Super Cup.

Philippe Clement's Monaco side beat Strasbourg 2-1 to also start their domestic campaign with a win, but their away form in Europe is poor - with just two wins in their last 13 games, albeit one of those coming at PSV last year.

There's a solid history of both teams scoring recently, with PSV's last five competitive home games and Monaco's last six away games all seeing goals at both ends.

Both sides have their danger men, for the hosts it's the talented Cody Gakpo who was linked with big moves away this summer, including to Man Utd.

Gakpo scored six of his seven European goals at home last season, so will be a key man to keep an eye on for Monaco.

Monaco rested their star striker Wissam Ben Yedder at the weekend, so he'll be fresh and ready to add to his record of scoring 14 goals in his last 21 games in the Champions League.

Monaco will give a good account of themselves here, and one value play in the markets could be in their corner stats - which saw them win the second-most corners in Ligue 1 last season.

At 1.51/2 to get four corners here, that's a nice selection to add to our Bet Builder.

So we'll back Monaco's corners, both teams to score, but for the result then the hosts should be able to get the job done whatever it takes, so we'll back them to qualify as this one may take longer than just the 90 minutes.
