Opponents of San Marino, Europe's worst international team, regularly go off at very short prices - Northern Ireland are just 1/401.03 to win this - but it is possible to get some value out of their matches.

Let's show you how.

Leg 1: Both teams to score 'no'

First up, go with both teams to score 'no'.

San Marino have scored two goals in their last 42 competitive matches.

They've lost all six qualifiers so far 'to nil' and even in last season's Nations League, when playing fellow minnows Estonia and Malta, they lost every game without scoring.

Leg 2: NI to score in both halves

Next, expect the hosts to win both halves.

That's landed in 39 of San Marino's last 52 competitive internationals, although when you take out their eight most recent Nations League games (against the other minnows in League D) it becomes 38 of 44.

For the record, Northern Ireland are currently in League C of that competition.

Win both halves is a 4/11 shot as a single but sadly isn't an option for Bet Builders. Therefore, we'll take the next-best option which is Northern Ireland to score in both halves at 1/5.

Leg 3: NI over 8.5 corners

Finally, let's play the corners market.

San Marino have a long track record of conceding a lot of corners.

In their last three qualifying campaigns, including the current one, they've conceded at least nine corners in 19 of their 26 matches.

The Irish managed nine in the reverse fixture back in March - a game they won 2-0 with a goal in each half from Dion Charles - and so look more than capable of repeating the trick on home soil.

Over 8.5 home corners takes the price of our Bet Builder to around 7/4 which looks considerably better than those original 1/40 odds.
