Fluminense v Bahia

With the international window opening, there are slim pickings to be had for football punters on Monday.
However, there's still a decent-looking bet to be had in Brazil's Serie A where two strugglers face off, desperately needing to halt worrying runs.
Both Fluminense and Bahia have slid down the table over the past month - the hosts have taken just one point from their last five league games, while Bahia have claimed just one from their last seven matches.
Both now sit on 18 points and two evenly-matched sides can be expected to battle hard in this encounter.
The 'to be booked' market therefore makes appeal, especially when you consider Bahia have been one of the dirtier teams in the Brazilian top flight this season.
They've collected 43 yellow cards in their 17 matches to date - the third most of the 20 clubs in the division. Bahia have been awarded at least two cards in 12 of their 17 matches, while six have seen four or more.
Right midfielder/winger Rossi has been responsible for six of those 43 in 15 starts, while across all competitions in 2021 he's been carded 12 times in 32 starts.
Those stats make odds of 13/5 about him picking up another card in this clash look tasty.
Admittedly, the referee appointment could be better - Edina Alves Batista is one of the lower-carders in Serie A - but given the need for points of both sides, things should be hard fought which could lead to a busy night for the FIFA official.
