Teammates must move on from NLD clash
Barcelona have gone through rough times in the last few years with some of
his brightest starts departing or retiring, and financial problems preventing the club from refreshing the squad. But the club now seems to be entering a new phase lead by their young stars.
Joining Pedri or Ansu Fati, we now have Gavi who performed brilliantly on
Spanish Super Cup Final in a 3-1 win over Real Madrid. Barça's young star scored once and assisted twice in a stellar performance.
Gifted Gavi key to Barca resurgence
I'm a fan of Gavi. He has a great personality and resilience on the
pitch which he combines with a high level of technical skill.
I'm sure he will be one of the crucial players in Barcelona's resurgence on
their way to becoming again that dominant team. They could reach similar to height to those we saw when the current manager Xavi was still playing alongside Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi among others.
The club is in excellent post World Cup form, claiming its first trophy since Messi's departure and storming to the top of La Liga. We can say that better winds are blowing at Camp Nou and the future could be bright for the club in 2023 if they manage to keep the current good vibe.
Real Madrid's Brazilians still hurting
Real Madrid are struggling since the domestic restart and their Brazilian players have been criticised for letting their form dip.
Brazil's elimination was such a blow for the players. That can leave some scars on the players for a while, so, it might be the case that Rodrygo, Vni Jr and Éder Militão are still digesting what went wrong before they can return to their best.
They'll getting back to their best soon for Carlo Ancelotti's team, I'm sure. They are all young and will have more chances of representing their national team and recovering from their disappointment.
Danilo can evolve with Nottingham Forest
The young, former-Palmeiras midfielder Danilo has just signed with
Nottingham Forest, joining his former teammate Gustavo Scarpa in Premier
League.
Danilo is a very talented player who will have a great opportunity to massively develop his game in the best league in the world.
This can also put him closer to the national team since a Brazillian player abroad tends to get more attention from the national team manager.
Danilo will grow a lot because Premier League demands a lot more physically and tactically than other leagues.
Martinelli and Richarlison down to heat of derby
Brazilian national team colleagues Gabriel Martinelli and Richarlison got into an argument during the north London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal.
Yes, it was a very tense clash with huge rivalry and players can get a bit
heated, but this is not normal between Brazil teammates.
But it can happen sometimes when the players are nervous with the way a high stakes match is going. The most important is that both players can chat afterwards and put it behind themselves so that it won't have any impact in
future Brazil matches.
