Erling Haaland has put more shots on target than anyone else in the Premier League this season. He's averaging 1.89 per 90 minutes across his seven starts and has eight goals to show for his efforts on goal.
Unsurprisingly, he was Manchester City's main threat at Villa Park last season too, with three of the side's four shots on target in that 1-0 defeat.
Enzo Maresca rested him for the midweek win over AEK Athens, so he should be fit and ready to go for this one. Villa won't have that luxury after their own Champions League outing in the week in a convincing win over Viking.
Haaland has hit the target at least once in each of his three Premier League away games this term, including three efforts on target in the 4-1 win at Palace.
Unai Emery's Aston Villa have struggled to limit chances as well, giving up 15.86 shots and 4.43 shots on target per game in the league so far.
Everton's defeat to Chelsea last weekend had its share of flashpoints, the biggest being Morgan Rogers getting away without a second yellow after his strong challenge on James Garner. It was a fiery game all round, with seven bookings handed out in total.
Arsenal's opponents are picking up an average of 2.66 cards per game across all competitions this season, which says a lot about how hard they are to keep quiet. Opposition sides have been booked more than once in eight of Arsenal's 12 matches, and in four of those they cleared this line without any help from Arsenal.
Everton could be in for a long afternoon defensively if the Gunners put them on the back foot early on, which they'll be expected to do on home soil.
Fulham's Josh King is given a free role in that advanced midfield spot and often drops deeper to get on the ball. He's drawing 1.86 fouls per 90 in the league this season, the most of anyone in the Fulham squad. He's set to come up against Coventry's Caleb Yirenkyi in the middle of the park, and that's a battle worth watching.
Yirenkyi committed three fouls in Coventry's 3-1 defeat at Tottenham on Monday, getting this bet over the line even though he was taken off after an hour. He was booked in that game too.
Since joining Coventry, Yirenkyi is averaging 3.28 fouls per 90 and has landed this selection in five of his seven starts, so he's clearly not shy in breaking up the play.
James Maddison played a starring role in Spurs' win over Coventry, which was also their first victory of the season. Making his first start of the campaign, he scored from outside the box and was fouled four times before coming off after 70 minutes in a successful return to the team.
He looks to be back to full fitness and set for a big role under Spurs boss, Roberto De Zerbi. Tottenham head to Stamford Bridge in what might be the pick of gameweek eight, and these meetings rarely stay calm. There were 29 fouls the last time the sides met, and 26 in the reverse fixture, and Maddison could draw some high numbers.
