Fulham v Aston Villa Tip - Go low on the goals

Live on TNT Sports

Is Fulham's season petering out? It's now just one win against hapless Burnley in their last six games, including defeat at home in the FA Cup to second tier Southampton, where they have failed to score in five of those matches. It means they have dropped to 12th, and while they may only be three points behind seventh placed Chelsea, there are four teams in between them who are all in much better form in the quest for Europe.

For Aston Villa, they have an eight point gap to Brighton in sixth, including a game in hand, and still have remaining fixtures against Burnley and Tottenham. With the first leg of their Europa League semi-final next midweek, they surely will have half an eye on that.

With 10 of Villa's last 13 Premier League games finishing Under 2.5 goals and Fulham's struggles in-front of goal, backing less than three goals is an attractive proposition as the underdog.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace Tip - Eagles tough nut to crack for the Reds

Crystal Palace are something of a bogey team for Arne Slot's Liverpool, with the Reds having won just one of the last six meetings between the two sides across all competitions. Anfield will hold no fear for this Palace side who have avoided defeat in their last four visits.

Liverpool's issue has been their inability to break this well organised Palace side down, having only managed to score six goals in the last seven league meetings.

Palace will likely have one eye on their European semi-final next week but they have the squad to remain competitive here and it may also mean they are less of a threat going forward if the likes of Sarr are rested.

With seven of Liverpool's last 12 Premier League home games going Under 2.5 goals, backing a lower scoring game than the market anticipates looks the way to go. Indeed the goal expectancy is up at 3.20 meaning we can actually back Under 3.25 goals at a competitive price. The only way our bet will completely lose is with four or more goals.

West Ham v Everton Tip - No bet is the best bet

Saturday, 15:00

A tough one to call on Saturday afternoon, particularly with West Ham possibly being distracted by the goings on of Tottenham at Molineux at the same time. The Hammers have worked themselves out of the relegation zone and two points clear of Spurs but have only won two of their last eight Premier League games.

Everton are the best side in the league for Under 2.5 goals games but possibly look to have taken the handbrake off going forward with Europe in their sights having scored 11 goals in their last six games. West Ham's games on the otherhand have seen seven of their last nine go Under 2.5 goals. The market can't split Over/Under 2.5 goals with it priced 5/61.84 the pair and neither can I nor the outcome of this match at the odds.

Wolves v Tottenham Tip - Oppose Tottenham once again

Saturday, 15:00

Will Tottenham ever win a Premier League match again? After their 2-2 draw with Brighton last weekend it's now 15 games in the league without a victory. Their cause isn't helped by the amount of goals they are conceding having shipped at least two in 11 of their last 13 league games. This will undoubtedly not be helped by the absence of captain Cristian Romero, with Spurs having lost 35% of games with him compared to 56% without him across all competitions this season.

Spurs have lost their last three trips to Molinuex and Wolves will be licking their lips having not lost against Tottenham in any of their last six matches. Can you believe Tottenham are 7/101.70? No, me neither, so it has to be backing Wolves-Draw double chance.

Arsenal v Newcastle Tip - Howe under more pressure than Arteta

Live on Sky Sports

After Man City's 1-0 over now relegated Burnley, they are joint top with Arsenal, with the same goal difference, with City having scored three more goals, with just five games to go. With City involved in the FA Cup this weekend, it's over to you Arsenal. However, this is an Arsenal side for whom the goals have struggled to flow with the Gunners having only managed four in their last six games.

Opponents Newcastle could be the tonic they need with Eddie Howe under pressure having lost eight of their last 11 Premier League games. Things are not helped by the doubts surrounding Anthony Gordon who unexpectedly missed last weekend's defeat as he leads Newcastle for goal contributions with 22 across all competitions.

With Newcastle having conceded two or more goals in eight of their last 11 league games, Arsenal should manage to find the breakthrough at some point. We can boost the Gunners 4/91.44 to win to 4/51.80 by backing Under 4.5 goals alongside it. How does the famous chant go? " 1-0 to the Ars-e-n-al".
