Will England teammates Maddison and Kane be pivotal in a goal-filled game on Saturday?

The Premier League fixtures continue at a pace with another full programme of games this weekend, starting with a London derby on Saturday and ending with the Merseyside derby on Monday. Mike Norman has a score prediction for each game...

West Ham v Chelsea

Scoreline Prediction 0-1

West Ham have taken four points from their last two games. They appear to be performing better than they were at the start of 2023 and I don't see them having any problems pulling away from the relegation zone.

That said, Chelsea have kept three cleans sheets on the spin, and with Reece James and Ben Chilwell back in the team I fancy they'll make it four with possibly one of them creating a goal at the other end.

Back the 0-1 @ 6/1

Arsenal v Brentford

Scoreline Prediction 2-0

Arsenal fell victim to the 'new manager bounce' at Goodison Park last week but they were let off the hook by Man City also losing to Spurs.

The Gunners will want to get back to winning ways before the top two meet in midweek, and although Brentford have been superb this season and go into this game unbeaten in eight league games, I fancy the hosts to take the points.

Back the 2-0 @ 6/1

Crystal Palace v Brighton

Scoreline Prediction 1-2

Palace keep flattering to deceive, playing well but failing to put points on the board to show for their decent efforts. Brighton on the flip side just get the job done and go into this game on the back of scoring an incredible 14 goals in their last four away games.

Back the 1-2 @ 15/2

Fulham v Nottm Forest

Scoreline Prediction 0-1

Fulham are enjoying a terrific season, sitting in the top half of the table and into the fifth round of the FA Cup, but they've come a cropper in recent league games, failing to score in any of their last three matches.

Forest on the other hand have well and truly turned the Premier League corner, winning four of their last seven to comfortably move up the table. Three of those victories were courtesy of a 1-0 scoreline and I fancy we'll get something similar here.

Back the 0-1 @ 10/1

Leicester v Tottenham

Scoreline Prediction 2-2

I'm surprised Leicester v Tottenham isn't a live TV game every time they play. Given their head-to-head results you'd think it would be one of the first games pencilled in to be shown live each season.

In a nutshell, the Foxes v Spurs is one of the highest scoring fixtures in Premier League history, and never more so than in recent seasons. The last four meetings have witnessed an utterly incredible 23 goals. That's almost six goals per game.

The live game decision-makers are probably thinking that we're due a 0-0, but with Harry Kane in superb form this season and James Maddison undoubtedly Leicester's star man, I can't help but feel we'll get goals again in a hugley entertaining affair.

Back the 2-2 @ 10/1

Southampton v Wolves

Scoreline Prediction 0-2

You can tell a manager is feeling the pressure when he starts talking nonesense in his press conferences. Nathan Jones has had back-to-back bizarre pressers now, this week claiming he was one of the fittest men on the planet once over as he talked about years gone by.

I fear that his players must be watching him and thinking exactly the same as me: "What the hell are you on about?"

His opposite number on Saturday, Julen Lopetegui, has started well at Wolves and last week saw his team demolish Liverpool 3-0. They won't need to be as good as that this week, but I'm confident that they can win at St Mary's.

Back the 0-2 @ 10/1

Bournemouth v Newcastle

Scoreline Prediction 0-2

It's a tough one this. Eddie Howe is likely to be feeling emotional ahead of his return to Bournemouth and the Cherries' fans will give him a very warm welcome I'm sure. All things being equal, with no emotions impacting the game, the Magpies should win and do so without conceding.

Back the 0-2 @ 6/1

Leeds v Man Utd

Scoreline Prediction 1-3

Fair play to manager-less Leeds for going to Old Trafford and taking a two-goal lead in midweek. They'll be disappointed that they couldn't hang on but they'd have taken a point before the game that's for sure.

I do feel though that Wednesday's game was their chance to shock, and that the Red Devils won't make any mistakes this time. In what is usually a high-scoring game between these two sides, I fancy both teams to score in another decent watch.

Back the 1-3 @ 12/1

Man City v Aston Villa

Scoreline Prediction 4-1

It's been a turbulent week for the blue side of Manchester, for off the field reasons, and it remains to be seen how they'll end it when they host Aston Villa on Sunday.

Something tells me that Pep Guardiola's men will respond like champions, and they'll score three or four in a comfortable win.

I do worry about City's defence, however. It seems that 50% of their best backline is sitting in the dugout each week, and that probably goes some way to explaining why they've only kept two clean sheets in their last nine league games.

Back the 4-1 @ 14/1

Liverpool v Everton

Scoreline Prediction 0-0

Liverpool are really struggling for form and confidence right now, and Jurgen Klopp has insisted that things must change for this game. We don't know what he means by that, and until we see evidence of the Reds being back to their best then they can be readily opposed.

Everton got off to the perfect start under their new manager with a typical Sean Dyche 1-0 win over Arsenal last week. The Toffees will go to Anfield with no fears and I can see them avoiding defeat.

No fixture in Premier League history has finished 0-0 more times than this one, and four of the last 10 Merseyside derbies have ended goalless. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to work out where this prediction is going.

Back the 0-0 @ 11/1
