Spain are 9/25.50 joint-favourites to win the World Cup but didn't play like it last time out as they dominated but were held to a 1-1 draw by Iraq in La Coruna. They also drew 0-0 with Egypt in March, so boss Luis de la Fuente has called for more intensity and goal threat from this warm-up game in Mexico.

Dominating possession but not scoring enough goals has long been a problem in tournament football for Spain. But it was not a problem during qualifying as their last six wins have been by at least a two-goal margin and all with a clean sheet.

Peru have scored twice in three of their past four games but struggle to break down the better teams - drawing a blank against Senegal recently and also failing to score in nine of 12 World Cup qualifiers.

A Spain win to nil is 8/111.73 here, which should be no problem whatsoever, but for a little more value we'll back them to produce a far more clinical display this time around and put distance between the sides.

Armenia v Moldova - Rare goals for minnows

Tuesday 9 June 16:00 kick-off

Talk about two bald guys fighting over a comb! Armenia have just one win in 12, with nine defeats, but they're still odds-on to beat Moldova, who've lost 11 of their 14-game winless run with their last victory coming in November 2024 - a 1-0 in Andorra.

They both did draw their first friendly of this window though, with Moldova's 2-2 against Bulgaria an impressive result, even if it came in an end-of-season friendly where motivation was low. So this is a chance for one of these teams to get a rare win if they approach the game correctly.

You can't trust either side really, but that can work in our favour here as although they do struggle to score, they struggle more with keeping clean sheets.

We've just celebrated the fourth anniversary of Armenia's last clean sheet in June 2022, while Moldova have gone 14 games without a clean sheet - conceding 44 in that spell so odds against for both teams to score could be a nice little touch here.

Hungary v Kazakhstan Tip - Hosts a good win to nil bet at 1/12.00

Hungary beat Finland last time out as they seem to be taking these summer friendlies pretty seriously, which is bad news for Kazakhstan who actually have a nice three-game unbeaten run going - against poor opposition admittedly.

They did draw with Belgium in qualifying, but that was at home and on the road they've just one win over Liechtenstein in the last three years - they're not big scorers either.

Hungary haven't been great on home soil but they do have three clean sheets in their last five and they're head and shoulders above their opponents.

Saudi Arabia v Senegal Tip - 11/43.75 Africans to come out on top

Tuesday 9 June 00:00 (Wednesday)

Is it Tuesday or Wednesday at midnight? It's still Tuesday in San Antonio, Texas, where these two World Cup hopefuls meet to conclude their preparations. Senegal are 8/131.61 favourites but coming off a defeat to hosts USA while Saudi Arabia ended a run of four straight defeats by beating Puerto Rico 3-0.

And it's more of that Saudi scoring power that we're banking on because, while you can't expect them to get a result, they've shown enough recently to suggest they can get a goal. Senegal aren't quite water tight in friendlies when changes are made.

So although the Africans should be good for the win, at some point we expect a Saudi goal.
