Sunday 7 June 01:00 kick-off
Defending champions Argentina start their bid to become the first team to retain the World Cup since Brazil in 1962 by facing Honduras in Texas. Lionel Messi may not play in this one after a recent injury, with no chances taken ahead of his sixth and final World Cup.
Honduras only conceded two goals in World Cup qualifying but remarkably still failed to make it, and with just one defeat in seven they'll provide a decent defensive test for Argentina to break down. Argentina have five clean sheets in seven and they're 4/61.67 to win to nil here, but instead we'll go for slightly better odds on nothing more than a 3-0 or 2-1 just in case.
Back Argentina win and under 3.5 goals
Denmark v Ukraine Tip - End of season stalemate

No World Cup trips for these two - but Ukraine still seemed to be bothered to turn up after beating Poland 2-0 last time, while Denmark drew 0-0 with DR Congo in Belgium.
Ukraine are a big price at 4/15.00 on the back of those results, but Congo put out a pretty strong side and with their summer holidays just one game away this one will more than likely be a draw.
Back the draw

Croatia are jetting of to the World Cup after this final prep game, Slovenia are jetting off on their summer holidays - which is just one reason to expect a pretty comfortable home victory. Another being Slovenia drawing 1-1 with 10-man Cyprus last time.
After losing to Brazil and Belgium, Croatia need a performance ahead of their World Cup opener with England, and with Slovenia failing to score in three of five aways and in their last three away defeats then we can't see them scoring here with their holidays coming up.
Back Croatia to win to nil
Greece v Italy Tip - Back 3/14.00 Greeks to beat young Italians

Italy's kids beat Luxembourg 1-0 on Wednesday with the youngest Azzurri starting XI since 1912 - Greece away offers a big step up though, with the hosts drawing 2-2 with Sweden on Thursday and no doubt desperate not to lose to a team of teenagers!
Greece have just one clean sheet in eight at home so both teams will score, but the extra strength and nous of an older and more experienced home side should see them through.
Back Greece win and both teams to score
Morocco v Norway Tip - Norwegian firepower the difference

Shock World Cup semi-finalists last time in 2022, hugely controversial Africa Cup of Nations champions this year, who knows how Morocco will get on this summer in their seventh finals appearance. They've got a tough test on here in New Jersey though against World Cup dark horses Norway.
A 3-1 win over Sweden without Erling Haaland on Monday showed Stale Solbakken's men could prove to be more than handy in the tournament - and with decent outright odds they're well worth backing at 23/202.15 just for the win in this game.
But it's a clear defence v attack kind of game - Morocco build their game around clean sheets while four of Norway's last five had over 2.5 goals and five of six saw both teams score. And we'll back their extra firepower to get this game won.
Back Norway to win and both teams to score
