Football Bet of the Day: Cops to bust through Zenit's suspect defence

Our firecracker fizzled out in France yesterday. Nancy scraped a 1-0 win over Orleans that does wonders for their survival chances, but not for our bank balance.

Today we're hoping that sparks will fly at the Gazprom Arena, where Russian Premier League leaders Zenit St Petersburg are hosting Dinamo Moscow. We like the odds-against price on both teams to score - just like they have in each of the last three runnings of this fixture.

Sergei Semak's Zenit have won 7/8 home league games, but the Anti-Aircraft Gunners have not been particularly good at shutting out the opposition. They have conceded in 5/8 of those games.

Dmitri Khokhlov's Dinamo have won just one away game all season. Recently, however, they have scored in 3/4 on the road. Since Khokhlov took charge, the Cops have also scored on 6/8 trips to teams that either finished in the top six last season or are part of the current top six. We're backing them to cause a minor stink in the Gazprom Arena and grab at least a goal.
