Football Bet of the Day: Goals to rain in Spain

A couple of this week's bets have been won on very late goals. Last night in Belgium, we were paid out before half-time. Visiting Wolfsburg roared into a 2-0 lead before Gent pulled one back in the 41st minute to land Over 2.5 Goals. The hosts eventually equalised in the 93rd minute to grab a 2-2 draw, but we were long gone.

In fact, we were on our way to Spain for tonight's La Liga match between seventh-placed Villarreal (W4-D2-L3) and 14th-placed Alaves (W3-D2-L4). Only Barcelona have scored more Liga goals than Villarreal this season and we like the even money about today's game going Over 2.5 Goals - just like each of the last five head-to-head fixtures.

The Yellow Submarine won their last home match 5-1 and start as odds-on favourites for this one, despite losing 4/5 of those head-to-heads.
