Tobias Gourlay reckons the Troll Children will devour the Boys in Norway this afternoon
Rosenborg v Tromso
Saturday 14:30
We have a bet still live at the time of writing. Our chosen J League match kicks off shortly. When it's all over, our attention turns quickly to Norway, where this afternoon's Eliterserien match brings Tromso to the home of reigning champions Rosenborg. We're not convinced the visitors will enjoy their time at Lerkendal Stadium.
Under Eirik Horneland this season, the hosts are in danger of losing their title, having gone W7-D4-L5 through the first 16 rounds of this season's Eliteserien. However, their form is starting to pick up. They've won 6/8 home and away, and 5/6 at Lerkendal Stadium. The Troll Children have scored 12 times in winning their last four straight on home turf and we reckon they could put Tromso to the sword today.
The visitors are 12th in the 16-team league, having lost 9/16 home and away. On the road, the Boys are W2-D1-L5. Since Simo Valakari took charge, they have lost 17/29 away from home. Just recently, they have lost 4/5. The scorelines from their most recent three defeats are 1-5, 0-4 and 1-3. We're backing them to lose with something to spare this afternoon.
