Football Bet of the Day: Goals to flow at Rio Ave

In Russia yesterday, Yenisey Krasnoyarsk beat FC Orenburg 2-1 to keep their slim hopes of survival alive. But props too to the visitors, who had a man sent off but still managed to find the goal that brought home our BTTS bet.

Today we're in Portugal for the Friday-night Primeira Liga game between eighth-placed Rio Ave and second-placed Porto. With four games to go, Porto are level on points with league leaders Benfica and need to keep winning. They have a fine head-to-head record against Rio Ave (W10-D1-L0 home and away since 2013) but it's the goals markets that have caught our eye.

Despite their appalling record in this fixture, Rio Ave have scored in 8/11 meetings, including all five at Estadio do Rio Ave. This season, Daniel Ramos's men have scored in 13/15 home matches.
