Football Bet of the Day: Hull to deliver first half from Hell

A waterlogged pitch prevented the deluge of goals we were looking forward to in Dundee last night. Still, we'd have been even more disappointed if it was tonight's party that was called off.

Oh, apparently it is all off tonight. No football to speak of whatsoever. Which means we're jumping the gun and dipping into 2016 early.

Tomorrow afternoon, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's QPR entertain Steve Bruce's Hull City in one of two New Year's Day games from the Championship. Except 'entertain' isn't quite the right word.

Each of the (not so) Super Hoops' last seven league games at Loftus Road have been goalless at the break and we like the price on another rubbish first half against Hull.

The visitors have seen 10/12 away games stay Under 2.5 Goals this season and, if there are to be any goals at all in west London, we reckon they'll take a while to arrive.
