Football Bet of the Day: No clean sheet for top-of-the-table PSV

Defences didn't just take a bath in Turkey last night. They got drenched. 3-3 at Doganlar Stadium means we've won 4/5 this week and are now looking to maintain our good form in the Netherlands.

Top-of-the-table PSV host Heracles on Sunday morning and will fancy their chances of taking all three points. But what we really fancy are the odds on both teams to score.

After eight rounds, PSV are five points clear of Ajax and Feyenoord at the top, despite conceding more goals (eight in total) than either of their perennial rivals.

Philip Cocu's men are averaging more than three goals a game at the other end, however, and should have no trouble finding ways through the Heracles defence.

The twelfth-placed visitors are the highest scorers in the bottom half. They've notched in all three road games to date this season. It's almost a year since they managed a clean sheet on the road themselves but, at the other end, they've struck in 10 straight.

Both teams have found the net in 7/9 league meetings and that's the outcome we'll be backing on Sunday morning.
