Espanyol put us through the mill yesterday, but we got there in the end. Pegged back to 1-1 and then 2-2, the Parakeets eventually won 4-3, to put us into profit for the week.
We're staying in Spain today. In dire form, Malaga have recently brought in a new boss. It remains to be seen whether Michel will mastermind a bounce, but it's the form book we're most interested in - and it's telling us that Alaves are overpriced to get something from this afternoon's La Liga game at La Rosaleda (the 'Rose Garden').
The hosts have lost three in a row anywhere and won just one of their last five on home turf (W1-D1-L3).
New to the Spanish top flight this season, Alaves are going well in 11th. Mauricio Pellegrino's men have lost just three of their last 14 anywhere and have achieved some of their very best results on the road. Away from home, they're an even W5-D3-L5 since the start of term and, with a bit of a head start, we're ready to get right behind them in the Rose Garden.
