Football Bet of the Day: Motherwell to be thorn in side of Thistle

There was double success for us around the world yesterday. First, in the morning, Melbourne City and Perth Glory drew 3-3 to bring our Boxing Day bet. Then, in the evening, St Truiden drew 2-2 to deliver on Tuesday's wager.

Wednesday brings us back to Scotland, where there's a near-full round of Scottish Premier League fixtures tonight. Our pick is Inverness Caley Thistle's clash with Motherwell at Caledonian Stadium, where both teams have scored in 8/9 league games this season.

Only Rangers have stopped Richie Foran's hosts from scoring and we don't fancy Motherwell's chances of a shutout this evening. In a run stretching back to the tail end of last term, Mark McGhee's visitors have conceded at least once in 12 straight away games. At the other end, they've scored in 11/15 on the road and that gives us (and them) hope they can make some trouble of their own for the home defence.
