Back Getafe @ 1.8810/11 to beat Malaga

Malaga are on their way to the Madrid suburbs and they look like lambs to the slaughter, says Tobias Gourlay

There was no sonic boom this morning. The Jets scored early but never moved through the gears and settled for a 1-0 win that's a loss for us.

On Monday, Malaga gave us our first win of 2018 and they're back in action tonight. The Anchovies are off to the Madrid suburbs to take on Getafe.

Jose Bordalas's hosts are W5-D1-L3 at their Coliseum this season. They've won five of the most recent seven - and four of the last five - and the defeats came early in the campaign against three teams (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla) who are now in the top five. In three games against sides now in the wrong half of the table, the Blues have won 2-1, 4-1 and 2-0. We fancy Malaga are headed for more pain this evening.

Michel's visitors have recently lost three in a row without scoring at home and away. On the road, the Andalusians are W1-D0-L8 this term. They've had some tough gigs in that time, but last time out against 18th-placed Alaves they still lost 1-0 - and that's damning.
