A winning week just gone for our chum Kevin Hatchard, who plundered South America like a latter-day conquistador.

We'd follow him all the way there for tonight's big game from Peru, if only Dundalk weren't hosting Derry in one of tonight's Airtricity League games. So we'll cut a swath through Ireland instead.

Under Stephen Kenny, table-topping Dundalk have seen 9/13 games at the Brandywell Stadium go Over 2.5 Goals. Dip a toe into the tail end of last season and you can extend that record to 12/16.

They've scored three times or more themselves in 9/15 and might get tonight's game over the line on their own. But, just in case, Derry City arrive with a better insurance policy than most.

Sixth in the table now but able to go fifth with a point or more this evening, have finished between third and fifth in each of the last five seasons. Among the attributes keeping them firmly in the top half is the ability to score goals on the road. They've hit the back of the net in 61/80.

Under Peter Hutton recently, the Candystripes have scored in 5/8 on the road and scored twice or more in 4/8.
