Football Bet of the Day: The BoIS are up for it

Betting.Betfair takes the Scottish approach to this bank holiday. There isn't one. But the weather's also pretty Scottish, so we wouldn't be doing anything else anyway.

Just over a week ago, we were stung by a 1-1 draw in Norway, as Bodo Glimt and Sandnes Ulf fell one short of the goals line. At this time of year, however, Scandinavia is where the football season is most established and the patterns strongest, so it'll take at least one more defeat before we start a boycott.

Sweden's second tier, the Superettan, is 20 rounds into a 30-round season. Landskrona BoIS are third bottom and clear of the two-team relegation zone only because of a superior goal difference.

Eight of their last nine home games have produced three goals or more. Since Jorgen Petersson took over at the start of last year, a total of 17/25 have gone that way.

Landskrona are nine games without a home game clean sheet and that's a run of poor form even 12th-placed Degerfors can exploit. Tonight's visitors have hit the back of the net at least once in 19/21 away from home.

This season, eight of their 10 previous away games have turned up Over 2.5 Goals.
