Tobias Gourlay returns to Sweden in anticipation of some Nordic noir for defences in Orebro
Orebro v Brommapojkarna
Friday 18:00
Astra Giurgiu 0 Lyon 1 in Europe last night. We won't be going there again in a hurry.
In fact, we're going straight back to where we started the week. For the first half (or so) of the Allsvenskan season both teams were scoring in half of Orebro's home games (3/6). That changed when Alexander Axen took over, since when there have been goals at both ends in 4/4 at the Behrn Arena.
There's not much doubt that mid-table Orebro, who scored four in their last home outing, can hit the back of the net this evening against bottom-of-the-table Brommapojkarna. By all measurements (home, away, overall) they have the league's leakiest defence and are without a clean sheet on the road all season.
Our interest lies at the other end, where Orebro have conceded at least once in 8/9 and at least twice in 6/9. Brommapojkarna, meanwhile, have located the onion bag in 6/8 on their travels.
