Chile v Argentina
21:00 (Live on Premier Sports)
Peru made Chile a land of bronze for themselves, as they beat Paraguay 2-0 to claim third place in the Copa America, but a land of nothing for us, as the match fell a goal short of expectations.
Perhaps the final will make amends.
After spending most of this summer and last shackled by defence-first opponents, Argentina broke out against Paraguay earlier this week, winning their semi-final 6-1.
To that point, the Albiceleste had scored just three times in five knockout matches going back to Brazil 2014. To see Messi, Di Maria, Aguero and Pastore realise their potential as the most formidable attacking unit in international football was impressive, and spells trouble for tournament hosts Chile tonight.
Unless Jorge Sampaoli abandons the highly successful template that has got his team to within one win of a first ever Copa America title, Chile will play the aggressive, fast-tempo style of football that has seen them score 13 times in their five matches so far.
It might work for them but, more likely, it will leave Argentina too much space to enjoy themselves at the other end of the pitch. When these two met in World Cup 2014 qualifying, Argentina completed a 2-1 and 4-1 double.
With five of the last six Copa America finals delivering at least three match goals in 90 minutes, we're jumping on Over 2.5 Goals at a juicy price.
