Football Bet of the Day: Chaves to take a bite out of the Pastries

At the time of writing, yesterday's bet was still a live one. As we await news from China, there's time to tell you all about what might happen in this evening's Primeira Liga match from Portugal.

Relegation-threatened Chaves really need to start winning their home games. Jose Mota's men have only won 3/14 at Estadio Municipal de Chaves all season. However, their record against teams from outside the runaway top four is a borderline respectable W3-D4-L3. Overall, they've scored in 10/14, including six of the last seven. Chasing three points this evening, we fancy they get on the score-sheet at home to seventh-placed Belenenses.

The visitors have faint hopes of Europe next season, but really need a win to keep them alive.
