A little bird has told Tobias Gourlay that Modena will get something from their trip to Sardinia, where the goals have been flying in recently

Cagliari v Modena
Bordeaux were corked in Metz last night, which means the champagne stays on ice until we get some goals in Italy today.
Set aside bottom-of-the-table Parma, who are haemorrhaging goals at a fatal rate, and this season nobody's Serie A matches have been producing goalmouth action like Cagliari's. The 16th-placed Sardinians have seen a total of 44 strikes in the first 13 rounds of the season. And that's just how Zdenek Zeman likes it.
There have been goals at both ends in 5/6 league games at Stadio Sant'Elia. The exception was last time out, when the hosts were bested 4-0 by Fiorentina.
All of this bodes well for Modena in their search for the back of the net this evening. The Serie B outfit are stepping up a level for the Coppa Italia but are in good scoring form, hitting seven goals in their last three league away games.
In the Coppa Italia itself, both teams have scored in 5/6 Cagliari home games since 2011 and in 5/8 Modena road games since 2005.
