Football Bet of the Day: Conquerors bring goals to Aves

We were in Portugal last night and it went pretty well. Portimonense beat Setubal 3-1 to land our BTTS bet.

We're sticking around Portugal today. Guimaraes won last season's league meetings with Aves 2-1 and 3-1. They start as favourites to take all three points this evening, but it's the prices in the goals markets that have caught our eye.

Since Jose Mota took charge of Aves, 9/13 Liga games at Estadio do Clube Desportivo das Aves have delivered Over 2.5 Goals, including 5/6 this season. The hosts have scored at least twice in 4/6, while notching just a single clean sheet themselves.

Luis Castro's Guimaraes are averaging more than three match goals a game on the road this term (20 in 6). Just recently, they have had a couple of quiet outings to Boavista and Chaves, but both of those sides tend to keep games very tight on home turf.
