Bet 1: Back Everton to beat Watford at 4/6

Everton were disappointing against West Ham last weekend and with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin still missing, we can't expect a return to the form that they were showing in the early weeks of the campaign this weekend.

The good news for Everton fans is that they may not have to be back to their best to overcome a Watford side that offers little in the way of goal threat.

There is still plenty of time for Claudio Ranieri to turn things round at his new club, but there is lots of work to do. Defensively, they have been leaking too many goals while they are struggling to create chances up front: a combination that spells relegation. Back Everton to grind out a win in front of their own fans.

Bet 2: Back Luxembourg to win the Futurity Stakes at 10/11

The Group One Futurity Stakes is the pick of the action on Saturday's Doncaster card and features an impressive line-up of classy two-year-olds.

Mark Johnston's Royal Patronage is the most exposed of these but he heads to Doncaster with three consecutive wins under his belt, including in the Royal Lodge Stakes last time, while Roger Varian will be hoping that Bayside Boy can bounce back from his disappointment in the Dewhurst last time.

But both may have to improve significantly to trouble the favourite. Luxembourg ran away with the Group 2 Beresford Stakes at the Curragh and already looks a potential star for next season. Aidan O'Brien has saddled nine of the last 24 winners of this race and I'm confident he can reach double figures this weekend.

Bet 3: Back Leeds to draw with Wolves at 23/10

With just one win so far this has been a disappointing campaign to say the least for Leeds but they can improve enough to earn a point on Saturday.

Their visitors will be full of confidence after three consecutive wins, including a dramatic 3-2 win at Villa Park last time, and it seems as though Bruno Lage's side are finally getting their rewards for a string of strong performances.

I was tempted to back Wolves in this one, but while Leeds have been ordinary so far, the return of star trio Patrick Bamford, Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips will give them a major boost and they are still a side capable of beating almost anyone on their day, so at these odds, the draw looks a better option.
