Blades to pull off great escape?

Mark O'Haire: Sheffield United 1.111/9 are not the worst team in the league and, in this of all seasons, survival is not impossible. If they could win half of their remaining fixtures they could stay up. For West Brom 1.182/11 it is hard to have hope after their defeat to the Blades. Fulham 1.454/9 also look like their going down, in part because Brighton and Burnley look like they've got their act together. Outside the bottom three, Newcastle are the one that worries me.

Mark Stinchcombe: You can get 1.674/6 for the bottom three to all be relegated and I can see Sheffield United, West Brom and Fulham all going down.

Mo money?

Kevin Hatchard: Mo Salah is 2.285/4 favourite to win the Golden Boot and three goals clear of his nearest rivals. Would you back him at those odds now?

MS: I put him up at the beginning of the season. If you're already on him it might be worth taking cover on him by backing Bruno Fernandes at 16/1. It doesn't make sense to tie up your money for several months on a low price.

Premier League this weekend

Liverpool v Manchester City

MO: There will be an element of "must not lose" on both managers' parts. City are a bit short. They haven't beaten any team above seventh this season. Their winning run has come against mediocre opposition. Their record at Anfield is poor and so is their record against top six teams in the last couple of seasons. I need to oppose City at the prices so I'm going to back the draw 3.8514/5.

MS: I wanted to take Liverpool +0.5 but I can't do that based on how they're playing. Under 2.75 goals around evens looks a good way to bet on this match. The only way it loses if is there's four or more goals in the match. Other than Salah it's difficult to see who will score for Liverpool.

Kevin: You can get 6/4 on Salah to score any time.

Aston Villa v Arsenal

MO: Arsenal have had an extra 24 hours' rest. But Villa should be licking their lips at Arsenal's problems in defence. We are seeing two fatigued teams and both teams to score with over 2.5 goals as a same game multi bet at 1.910/11 is very fair.

Newcastle v Southampton

MS: Both teams are struggling to score and Southampton are in an injury crisis. Under 2.5 goals at 20/23 looks like a good bet.

Man Utd v Everton

MO: This is a really interesting match. I wouldn't read too much into United's 9-0 win over Southampton. That result aside, United have won by two goals or more just once in the league at Old Trafford this season. Everton can score here and I'm going to back them + 1.25 at 1.84/5.

Wolves v Leicester

MS: These are two counter-attacking teams so the first goal is massive. Leicester look short at 11/10 without Vardy. They've only won one in the last five without him. Wolves are missing Jimenez. I'm going to back 'No' in both teams to score at close to evens.

MO: I'm backing Milan -1.5 against Crotone @ 1.728/11. This is a mis-match and Milan are looking back to their best. They've won 11 of 13 matches against teams outside the Serie A top seven. This will be a comfortable win for the Serie A leaders.

MS: I really like Atletico Madrid at 6/4 against Celta Vigo and am prepared to back the La Liga leaders -0.75 goals at around 1.910/11. Celta have conceded the fourth most goals in the Spanish top flight this season. Luis Suarez is a killer goalscorer for Atleti.

MO: If you like cards betting then PSG v Marseille rarely disappoints. I'm going to play a same game multi combining Alvaro and Neymar in a double to get booked at 5/1 shot.

MO: Metz have been one of the stories of the season and they have a nice balance to their team, really dogged and difficult to play against. They are underrated in the betting for their trip to St Etienne. Back Metz +0.5 goals at 1.8910/11.

KH: In the Bundesliga I don't like the look of Leverkusen to beat Stuttgart. Silas Wamangituka is on a fantastic run for the away side and I think they have a great chance. Stuttgart draw double chance or lay Leverkusen. I also like Wolfsburg to win at Augsburg at 1.910/11.

MS: I'm going to back Leipzig plus over 2.5 goals at 1.758/11 for their match against the terrible Schalke.
