Only Coventry have has more shots on target in the Championship this term than the Saints and, moreover, the South Coast club are in fine league form, unbeaten in eight.

They're scoring heavily too, converting three goals per 90 across their last five outings.

With Fulham keeping just one clean sheet in their last 10 at home it's a definite shout to back the visitors over 1.5 goals at 2/13.00 while BTTS at 4/71.57 is a handy bet builder add.

The Cottagers have reached the quarter-finals in this competition in two of their last three seasons but injuries to Harry Wilson and the Brazilian winger Kevin limits their attacking thrust. The latter was Fulham's best player in each of the previous rounds.

At least they have Alex Iwobi back among the goals, and consistently letting fly. The 29-year-old took on three shots against Stoke and similar output is anticipated here. Iwobi to have 3 or more shots offers up 2/13.00

If it feels too risky to commit to an away win at the Cottage, even at tempting 9/25.50 odds, backing the Saints to win the corner-count really should appeal.

Tonda Eckert's men have won a corner every 12 minutes across their last five displays.

Port Vale v Sunderland Tip - Diarra in the thick of it

Ben Waine has twice been the match-winning hero for Vale, and the Newcastle fan will certainly be fired up this Sunday, facing the Mackems.

The New Zealand international amassed four shots on target on Tuesday as a lacklustre Bristol City were dumped out of the competition. It's notable that no other Vale player managed to test the oppo keeper.

Waine is a generous 13/102.30 to have 3 or more shots against a Sunderland side who conceded 11 shots - three on target - away to Oxford in the 4th round.

But of course it has to be the 2/51.40 favourites who are prioritised here, especially after picking up decent results on their travels this past week, beating Leeds and drawing at Bournemouth.

Habib Diarra played a prominent role in both those results, which translates to a spike in foul involvements for the Senegalese midfielder, four at Dean Court, six at Elland Road.

Vale aren't a dirty team by any means - committing the third fewest fouls in the third tier - but will have to be physical to compete on Sunday.

Leeds v Norwich Tip - Use B10G10 offer for 18/119.00 Bet Builder

Since late August, Leeds have kept just one clean sheet at Elland Road while the Canaries have begun to show real attacking intent on their travels, scoring 2.1 goals per 90 away from Norfolk in 2026.

Anis Ben Slimane takes the baulk of the plaudits in this regard, boasting a goal involvement every 68 minutes this year to date.

Should the Tunisian international - or indeed any other player - assist or convert in Yorkshire we can reasonably expect it to occur beyond the break. Only West Ham have conceded more second-half goals than Leeds in 2025/26 while it's a similar tale in the Championship with Norwich. Only three teams have conceded more in the second 45.

Second half most goals offers up 11/102.11

Lastly, an avalanche of bookings isn't on the cards even if a reaction from the hosts will be demanded from the Elland Road faithful after poor recent results.

In their respective leagues, Leeds have picked up just 1.5 cautions per 90 and Norwich a conservative 1.7.

All of which leads us to a tempting treble and should you opt in to our Bet £10 Get £10 offer you will get a £10 free bet when staking the same amount on a Bet Builder or Acca, so how about trying the below 18/119.00 recommended Bet Builder.
