AFC Wimbledon vs Stockport County - 15.00
These two sides are ranked 6th and 3rd in Open Play xG For according to OPTA so this should be a pretty open game with both teams adopting an attacking mentality. We saw last week in Stockport's 3-3 draw with Crawley that they are finding their attacking rhythm, but are yet to find the defensive solidity so far in this campaign.
AFC Wimbledon's reliance on James Tilley for goals, with six in six league games so far, is likely unsustainable but it's only a matter of time until Ali Al-Hamadi gets his name on the scoresheet. The Dons knocked back bids close to £1m for him over the summer, and it would be no shock to see him notch here as Johnnie Jackson's side look to send a message to the rest of the league that their good start is no flash in the pan.
Crawley Town v Newport County - 15.00
Both of Crawley's last two games have seen six goals, with Scott Lindsay's side conceding nine over the two, so it seems unlikely that Newport would have much issue finding the net having scored 14 in their first six games of the season.
The home side do create chances though, as shown by their three goals at Stockport last weekend and even in the 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Swindon they still had plenty of opportunities to find the back of the net. These are two teams to follow for goals and both should have some joy going forward.
Swindon Town v Sutton United - 15.00
Swindon are the league's joint top-scorers this season, despite drawing a blank in the 0-0 draw at Doncaster last weekend and playing a game less than everyone else due to an early season postponement. Up against a Sutton side who have lost their last five games, Michael Flynn's side will fancy their chances here, especially with new duo Dan Kemp and Jake Young in such fine form.
Despite their poor form, Sutton have scored in both of their away defeats so far and their physicality could cause the home side issues, especially from set-pieces where Swindon have the third worst xG-against so far this season
Accrington Stanley v Mansfield Town - 15.00
Stanley's games continue to see goals, with BTTS copping in all of their last four games. These have generally followed a trend of being end-to-end, with Accrington always looking a threat but generally conceding chances too.
When facing one of the best teams in the league in Notts County, they conceded three goals, and in Mansfield it'll be a similarly tall order to keep the opposition out. Manfield have had 22 more open-play shots than anyone else in League Two and from these top the xG For charts so, if this goes by the form book, we will likely see goals at both ends.
